Privacy Policy
Nockly (“we”, “us”) helps engineering teams attribute AI coding usage to work-tracker issues (starting with Jira), including via our website, hosted console, CLI/hooks, and Atlassian Forge / Marketplace app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account data: name, work email, company name, billing and invoicing details.
- Usage telemetry from your agent hooks: token counts, model id, ticket/issue key, machine hostname, git branch/worktree metadata, optional activity notes.
- Tracker connection metadata required for write-back and UI (site URL, field ids, OAuth or API tokens, issue keys and summary fields needed to render cost panels).
- Atlassian app context when you install Forge modules (e.g. cloud id, account id, project and issue identifiers needed for the panel or dashboard).
- Waitlist and support emails you send us.
What we do not collect
We do not ingest prompts, source code, agent transcripts, or file contents by default. Activity notes are free-text you choose to send — keep them free of secrets and unnecessary personal data.
How we use data
To operate the product (attribution, dashboards, Jira comments/labels/panels, usage prediction models trained on your workspace’s aggregated usage), secure the service, invoice your organisation, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we process data to perform our contract with you, for legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and where required with consent (e.g. marketing waitlist email).
Processors & retention
Infrastructure may include cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment/Marketplace billing partners under appropriate agreements. Usage events are retained for the life of the workspace unless you request deletion earlier. OAuth and API tokens are encrypted at rest where stored by us. On-prem deployments (when available) keep data in your environment per your configuration.
Sharing
We share data with subprocessors who help run Nockly, with Atlassian when you use Marketplace billing or Forge runtime features, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data by emailing privacy@nockly.io. Workspace owners can remove members at any time. You may uninstall the Atlassian app from your site at any time.
International transfers
If we process data outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
